At Showdown With No Showdown

Jeffrey Copeland raised to 2,200 from under the gun and Kevin Patterson called in the small blind.

The flop rolled out A98 and Patterson check-called a bet of 2,000 from Copeland.

On the turn 7, action checked through to the 9 river, where Patterson bet 5,500.

Copeland called to see Patterson muck his hand and Copeland was awarded the pot.

Yuan Takes from Foxen

Picking up the action with 12,700 in the pot, Kristen Foxen checked in middle position on a A6K flop. Berkeley Yuan bet 3,000 on the button, and Foxen called.

Foxen checked once again on the 9 turn, and Yuan barrelled for 8,500. Foxen gave it some thought before folding.

Craig Varnell, Mike Dentale, and Jimmy D'Ambrosio were in for 4,600 each heading to the flop, which came 6108.

Everyone checked on the flop and it was checked again to D'Ambrosio, who put out a bet of 7,700 on the A turn. Varnell folded and Dentale called.

The Q completed the board and Dentale checked a final time. D'Ambrosio fired a bet of 19,000 into the middle and Dentale let his hand go after a bit of a tank.

"Eighty-five Bears! Chicago!" D'Ambrosio said as he triumphantly revealed 85 for just a pair of eights.

Kauch Catches Teanotoga

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

There were over 5,000 in the middle on the flop of [2cc8cJh] when this hand was picked up.

Jameson Kauch checked from the big blind position before Joseph Teanotoga bet 7,000 out of the cutoff. Kauch made the call.

Both players knuckled the 6 turn to bring the 4 river. Kauch checked once again, but Teanotoga decided to fire the river for 15,000. Kauch thought briefly before he made the call to go to a showdown.

Teanotoga showed a bluff with K9. Kauch tabled J7 for a pair of jacks to take down the pot.

Seth Piles the Pressure on Gafford

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

It was heads up to the river on the 105AA7 board with around 40,000 in the middle.

Ryan Gafford in middle position checked to Andy Seth in the next seat who moved all in and had Gafford covered for his remaining 35,000.

Gafford went deep into the tank for four to five minutes before he released his hand to send the pot to Seth with no showdown.

Cekalins Takes a Pot

Ritvars Cekalins raised to 1,600 from early position, and William Boyle called in middle position then Felix Kuemayr three-bet to 6,600. The blinds folded then both Cekalins and Boyle made the call.

The flop came 667, and Kuemayr fired out a bet of 5,600, Cekalins called and Boyle made the fold. The 9 on the turn saw Cekalins lead for 8,000, and Kuemayr folded.

Perez Takes it Away From Perez on the River

Three players were still in on the 36QA turn with about 13,000 in the pot. After the big blind checked, Kaan Becer bet 5,800 from middle position, and Ignacio Perez was the lone caller from the hijack.

The 5 completed the board, and Becer slowed down with a check. Perez took the opportunity to bet 15,000, resulting in a snap-fold from Becer.

Chen Doubles Early

Shuowen Chen raised to 1,600 in the cutoff, and Matthias Kaltenberger called in the big blind.

On a A54 flop, Kaltenberger checked, and Chen bet 2,000. Kaltenberger then check-raised to 10,000, and Chen moved all in for 13,600, which Kaltenberger called.

Tierinni Takes it On The Turn

Action was picked up on the flop in a three-way pot between David Daneshgar on the button, Mauro Sosa in the big blind, and Matthew Tierinni in late position.

The board read JJ5 and action checked around to Tierinni who bet 2,400 and received two calls.

On the turn 6, Sosa checked to Tierinni again who bet 11,300 and both of his opponents folded.
