Yutuc Takes More From Oga With Ace-High

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

George Yutuc raised to 2,200 under the gun. Takafumi Oga responded with a three-bet to 7,000 in the hijack, which Yutuc quickly called.

The 35J103 board was then quickly checked through. Oga tabled AQ for ace-high, but Yutuc had the better kicker with AK to take the pot.

Over at another table, Michael Souza, Weiran Pu, and Ivar Walstra had all been eliminated, seemingly by Jeff Fenster, being replaced by, among others, James Obst.

Son Nguyen

Joseph Watts pushed all-in for the last 15,000 from under the gun and was called only by Son Nguyen in the very next seat.

Joseph Watts: KQ All in
Son Nguyen: AK

Watts already grabbed his belongings and vaulted out of his chair even before the 642 flop. Neither the 8 turn nor the 8 river changed anything and that spelled the end for Watts.

Scheinberg Takes a Hit Against Crabtree

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Four players checked to the turn on a board of K86J when Donald Crabtree bet 5,000 from the big blind. Only Isai Scheinberg called in the cutoff.

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Kathy Liebert
Kathy Liebert

There were over 17,000 in the middle on a flop that read 8J62 when this hand was picked up.

Kathy Liebert chose to bet 16,000 from early position. Jermain Gerlin was unfazed and made the call.

Both players slowed down with a check on the K river.

Liebert showed A8 for a pair of eights. It was good enough as Gerlin tapped the table, then sent his cards into the muck as Liebert continued to chip up.

Simon Doesn't Fall For Gropf's Trap

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Thomas Gropf raised to 2,000 from early position, Ezen Simon called from the next seat, and Rui Domingos came along from the big blind.

All three players checked the KQ7 flop before Domingos checked again on the 2 turn. Gropf fired a delayed continuation-bet of 5,500, Simon called, and Domingos folded.

After both players checked the Q river, Gropf tabled KK for the best possible full house to take down the pot.

Joseph Hebert
Joseph Hebert

Naixuan Shi raised to 2,200 from late position only to face a three-bet from Joseph Hebert in the hijack to 5,200. Action came back to Shi who made the call.

On the QJ3 flop Shi check-called Hebert's 4,000 continuation-bet for the 9 to peel off on the turn.

The action went check check and the dealer flipped over the 4 as the river. Shi lead out for 15,000 and Hebert raised to 30,000. Shi thought for a while and moved all in. Hebert didn't take long and made the call to table 44 for a rivered set but was unfortunate to have Shi table K10 for the turned nuts and Hebert was sent to the rail.
