Lampropoulos Puts on His Cape

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With the board reading KJ59 on the turn and about 12,500 in the middle, Alexander Lampropoulos in the cutoff check-called a bet of 6,500 from Cristian Penacastro, who was on the button.

The A peeled off on the river as Lampropoulos checked it over again to Penacastro, who fired out a bet of 20,000. Lampropoulos would go deep into the tank as he faces a river decision for almost half his remaining chips. He eventually landed on call, tossing the chips in Penacastro's direction.

"You're good," Penacastro conceded as Lampropoulos tabled KQ, and he made the right call to drag a huge pot.

Cohen Gets Payback from Jaffee

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Sacha Cohen
Sacha Cohen

Jared Jaffee and Sacha Cohen were caught going head-to-head again in a huge pot in the last level of the night. The pair were seen earlier in the day in a battle which saw Cohen taking down the pot, after sending Jaffee into the tank on the river.

The pair were at it again but this time with Jaffee in the hot seat. Cohen had jammed on the K71022 river covering Jaffee's remaining 74,000. It took Jaffee a while to decide what to do, but he eventually flicked his cards into the muck, giving Cohen back some of the chips he took earlier in the day.

The K landed on the turn and "Rampage" fired a second barrel to 16,000. It was too much for Berwick, who folded.

Blom's Raises Get No Respect

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

After the action checked to him on the 32K flop, Blom fired a continuation-bet of 2,400 into his opponents. Only Shebat came along with a call.

Both players checked the K turn and the A river. Blom mucked his cards, allowing Shebat to pick up the pot without having to show.
