Spradlin Runs Into Two Pair

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Bryan Thornton open to 800 from middle position but Felipe Roldan to his left three-bet to 2,500. Mark Spradlin in the big blind raised again to 5,500. Thornton folded but Roldan called.

Spradlin continued for 5,500 on the K410 flop and was called, then fired a second barrel to 6,000 on the 3 turn. Roldan called again.

Spradlin bet 5,000 on the J river. Roldan raised for more than Spradlin's stack, and Spradlin snap-called off his last 25,100.

Mark Spradlin: AK All in
Felipe Roldan: KJ

Spradlin seemed confident to win with top pair, but Roldan with two pair sent him to the rail.

Engel Wins Lengthy Hand

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Ari Engel opened to 1,000 in middle position and was the only caller when Alper Gocer three-bet to 3,500 in the cutoff.

Playing in flow, Engel checked to Gocer on a 956 flop, who bet 3,000. Engel then check-raised to 11,100, which Gocer called.

The J turn action then took a little while to complete. Engel continued with a bet of 18,000, which sent Gocer deep into the tank. After several minutes had passed, Gocer still hadn't come to a decision, but the table seemed more than happy to let him keep thinking. Another minute or so passed, and Gocer had decided what to do, as he returned his cards to the dealer, giving Engel the pot.

Blodgett Busts Rodriguez

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

James Rodriguez open-jammed for his last 3,400 from late position and Darrell Blodgett called on the button. David Hagmann also called from the small blind.

The 97K flop saw Hagmann check and Blodgett bet 4,000. Hagmann folded, leaving Rodriguez to see his fate.

James Rodriguez: A10All in
Darrell Blodgett: KJ

James Rodriguez was hunting for an ace as when the cards were flipped he was behind to Blodgett's pair of kings.

The 6 turn and 6 river didn't change the outcome and Rodriguez hit the rail.

Rumelyan Shows His Cowboys

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

When it folded to Itay Katz on the button, he raised to 1,300 and was instantly called by John Hewgill in the small blind. Petros Rumelyan wanted to play for more as he squeezed to 5,400. Katz got out of the way, while Hewgill put in the call.

The dealer spread the 553 flop, and Hewgill quickly checked. Rumelyan put out a continuation-bet of 5,000, which got Hewgill to fold.

As Rumelyan pulled in the pot, he was kind enough to table KK for an overpair.

Action folded around to the blinds, where Mark Ader raised to 1,300 from the small blind and Matt Affleck defended his big blind.

Both players checked on the QA5 flop and then Affleck called a 1,500 bet from Ader on the 6 turn.

Ader sized up for a bet of 3,500 on the 9 river and Affleck thought a bit before reluctantly tossing in a single chip to indicate a call.

Ader immediately mucked his hand without showing and Affleck declined to show as well as he was sent the pot.

"Straddle!" Martin Kabrhel declared as he raised to 800 under the gun. Corey Tigner called as next to act, and so did Matt O'Donnell in the cutoff.

Kabrhel continued for 1,500 on the 337 flop. Tigner called before O'Donnell folded. Kabrhel then dropped in an overbet of 10,000 on the 8 turn. Tigner gave his hand up as well, shipping the pot to Kabrhel.

"What did you have? Nines?" Kabrhel asked Tigner.

"Just a pocket pair. What did you have?" Tigner replied.

"I had pocket aces," Kabrhel claimed.

Leecy's Ladies Turn into a Flush

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

After a limp under the gun, Robert Nemeskeri-Kiss raised to 2,000 from middle position. Matthew Leecy three-bet to 8,000 from the big blind, and only Nemeskeri-Kiss called.

Leecy checked on the 42J flop, and Nemeskeri-Kiss bet 2,600. Leecy wasn't going anywhere just yet as he put in the call.

Both players checked the 9 turn before the A completed the board. Leecy checked for a third time, and after a bit of thought, Nemeskeri-Kiss checked behind, turning over AK for a pair of aces.

Leecy tabled QQ for a flush to drag in the pot.
