Modest Pot Blows Up in a Big Cooler Between Leonard and Chadha

A small pot of just 200,000 was in the middle as Carlos Chadha and Patrick Leonard went to the river on a board of K♣2♥9♠9♦10♠. Chadha then bet 245,000 from the big blind, but Leonard came back with a raise to 1,080,000 in the small blind.

Chadha took a minute before calling, and Leonard turned over J♣9♥ for trips. Chadha paused to study the board before flashing 9♣5♥ and tossing it into the muck.

"I wasn't 100 percent sure it wasn't a chop. I was counting on my fingers," Chadha said.
