Ihar Soika opened to 160,000 from early position and was called by Daniel Savas on the button. Xingyu Liu then squeezed to 825,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Soika, but a back-shove from Savas for 3,530,000 total. Liu quickly called to put Savas at risk, and hands were revealed.

Savas picked the wrong time to make a move, as he found himself dominated for his tournament life.
The A♦10♠7♦ flop kept Liu ahead after pairing his ace, but the Q♣ turn improved Savas to Broadway to leave Liu drawing to a chop at best.
The 3♣ river changed nothing, however, and Savas was awarded the large double-up for his bold play.
