Toledo Folds the Best Hand

Arnaud Mattern opened to 6,500 from middle position, and Delmiro Toledo on his direct left stuck in the call. Max Petzelberger then three-bet to 30,000 from the small blind, and only Toledo called.

He didn't slow down on the 3♦9♠3♠ flop, firing out a bet of 20,000, which saw Toledo instantly call. The J♣ peeled off on the turn, and this time the German sized up to 75,000. Toledo thought for a while, then began to mumble to his opponent. "I fold the best hand," he added while releasing his cards.

He carried on talking at Petzelberger, who remained stoic.
