Joseph Driscoll raised to 3,000 from early position, and Dane Coltman jammed for 36,500 from the hijack. Derek Gregory cold-called on the button before Driscoll reshoved, covering both players. Gregory snap-called for his remaining 146,500, giving Driscoll the chance to bust two opponents.

With three premium pocket pairs being dealt, it was hardly a surprise to see all the chips find their way into the middle.

Gregory's aces stayed in front through the 7♥J♦3♠ flop and the 2♣ turn. Only a queen or king on the river could stop his stack from climbing to more than 300,000.

The dealer burned and put out the 9♦ river, changing nothing. Gregory more than doubled his stack, Driscoll was left with crumbs, and Coltman's Main Event came to an end.
