"Seven-Five, the Big Blind Special"

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Players were already heads up on the 7Q3 flop and had accumulated a pot of 13,000. Andrew Lydon was in the big blind against Radwan Khuri, who was sat under the gun.

Lydon had checked, Khuri had moved all in for 38,000, and action was back on Lydon. It took a little while for Lydon to decide his option, but he picked up a matching stack and eventually made the call.

Radwan Khuri: KJAll in
Andrew Lydon: 75

Lydon was ahead with a pair of sevens, but Khuri had two overcards and was now looking to hit on either the turn or river.

The 4 turn and 2 river were dealt, and there was no turning back for Khuri, who was eliminated in the final hour of play. One player asked at the table, "What did he call with?" and another player responded, "Seven-five, the big blind special!"
