Full House over Full House for Mathers

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Bradley Mathers in the big blind, Gary Darter in middle position, and Ian Galland in the hijack saw a flop of 210K in a three-bet pot.

All three of them checked and checked again on the Q turn, bringing the 2 river. Mathers then fired 19,000. Darter shook his head before making the call, while Galland got out of the way.

Mathers tabled KK for kings full of deuces, the winning full house. Darter showed QQ for queens full of deuces, the second-best full house.

“I’ve been playing this tournament for 20 years, and I’ve never seen that,” a player at the table said.
