Tamaki Picks Off Petrov With a Better Two Pair

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Shoichiro Tamaki bet 2,700 from the cutoff on a flop of 7J4 and Joseph Lee called on the button. Veselin Petrov then raised to 20,000 in middle position, and only Tamaki called.

Both players checked the 6 turn. Petrov then bet 15,000 on the A river, and Tamaki quickly called.

Petrov showed A7 for two pair, but Tamaki had AJ for aces and jacks to win the pot.

Matt Berkey has recently joined this table, which also includes billionaire and poker enthusiast David Einhorn.
