Nomula called to the 7♠ river, but once there, he quickly gave up against Shapiro's next bet of 7,500.
Over at another table, cutoff Daniel Iachan bet 4,100 into a pot of 11,500 on a 8♣9♣9♦5♦ turn. Patricia Meherin check-called in middle position, after which the 3♣ river was checked to showdown.
Meherin was only able to show 2♠2♥, but her ducks were massively outclassed by the A♠A♥ of Iachan.
"I was hoping it was ace-king," Meherin stated as the chips were shipped to Iachan.
