Oertling Takes From Vrubel

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

William Oertling opened to 1,000 from under the gun. This led to a series of calls from Peter Kelly from early position, Sargon Guliana in the hijack, Terry Jordan in the small blind, and Shraga Vrubel in the big blind.

The crowd of players took a flop of 4K9 before Jordan checked. Vrubel took the betting lead when he fired 1,400. Oertling raised to 5,500, and this cleared out everyone except Vrubel, who made the call.

Vrubel checked the 8 turn before Oertling put out a bet of 10,500. Vrubel made the call.

The 10 river led to a pair of checks to go to a showdown.

Vrubel showed J4 for a flopped pair plus flush draw, but it was no good, as Oertling showed AA to drag in the pot.
