Lococo Tries To Bluff Lagodich

Action was picked up on the turn in a pot between Frank Lagodich on the button and Alejandro Lococo in the big blind.

With a board reading 10929, Lococo checked over to Lagodich who bet 27,000. Lococo responded by raising to 54,000 and Lagodich called.

On the river A, Lococo bet 139,000 and Lagodich snap-called.

Lococo turned over 86 for just eight-high, which was no good against Lagodich's Q9 for three nines with a queen.

Negreanu Takes from Calio

Giuseppe Calio opened to 5,000 from early position and was called by Daniel Negreanu in the small blind and Joey Weissman in the big blind.

On the Q98 flop, the action checked to Calio who continued for 7,000 and only Negreanu called.

The K turn checked through to the 5 river which saw Negreanu lead for 28,000 and Calio put in the call after a small tank. He got the bad news as Negreanu tabled K8 for two pair which as good at showdown as he stays toward the top of the counts early in the day.

Action was picked up in a massive pot between Jianwei Lin in the small blind and Jason Palker in the hijack.

The board read Q937 and Jianwei Lin moved all in for 128,000 and Palker called.

"No heart, no heart," asked Palker as he stood up as a favorite to win a massive pot to put him into the lead.

The deck granted his wish by putting a K, but unfortunately for Palker that still gave Lin top pair and he scooped a massive double to survive, leaving Palker shaking his head.

Furuse Shows Negreanu a Bluff

Kazuomi Furuse opened from middle position before Daniel Negreanu three-bet from the buttoon, and Furuse called.

On the 743 flop, Furuse check-called a bet of 13,000 from Negreanu.

The turn brought the 10 as Furuse checked again to Negreanu who bet 40,000 and Furuse called.

On the 8 river, Furuse got together some chips to lead before he was stopped by Negreanu.

"Don't bet too much," Negreanu warned, "I won't pay," before Furuse bet 85,000.

Negreanu would use two time banks before he folded as the tabled goaded Furuse into showing his hand. He obliged as he showed A9 for a missed flush draw as his bluff got through.
