Peacock Among the Early Big Stacks

Vinodan Lingham opened the action with a raise to 900 from the hijack and picked up calls from both blinds.

The flop came 62A, and after Patrick Martorella folded, Jamie Kerstetter check-called Lingham’s continuation bet of 900.

Both players then checked through the 8 turn.

When the 3 hit the river, Kerstetter seized the moment and led out for 2,300. Lingham quickly folded, and Kerstetter scooped the pot, flashing the A as she dragged in the chips.

Kiem Forces Out Loeser

Peter Kiem opened the action with a raise to 700 and Manig Loeser three-bet to 2,500 in the next seat. Once it folded back to Kiem, he four-bet to 7,700 and Loeser called. They headed to the K64 flop on which Kiem's bet of 4,200 won the pot uncontested.

In a blind-on-blind pot worth about 2,000 chips, Matt Kramer checked to Charlie Chiu, who bet 2,500 on the 37J4 turn. Kramer tossed in a call to the A river, which he also checked.

Chiu fired another over-bet, dropping 12,500 onto the felt. Kramer cut out a call, tossing it in after 30 seconds or so.

Chiu could only show queen-high with Q5, leaving Kramer to take the pot with A9 for top pair.

Zach Shawanda made it 800 from early position with Paz Shkalim calling on the cutoff, and Quirin Heinz calling from the small blind.

After Heinz checked the K10K flop, Shawanda bet 1,400, which only Shkalim called.

Both players checked the 4 turn to see the 2 roll off on the river. Shawanda checked and Shkalim bet 4,500. Shawanda tanked briefly before folding and surrendering the pot to Shkalim.

Seaman Raises the River on Heimiller

Dan Heimiller from the hijack and Jon Seaman from the cutoff were tangled in a pot with 17,000 in the middle to the completed board of A10762.

Once the river card was dealt, Heimiller immediately led for 5,000 before Seaman put in a raise to 15,000, representing the majority of Heimiller's remaining tank. He decided to lay it down after a small tank to be left relatively short.

Farhad Karimi raised to 800 in the cutoff before William Dopico three-bet to 2,200 on the button. Jongwook Lee then four-bet to 8,000 in the big blind and Karimi came back with a five-bet to 16,000.

Dopico folded, while Lee called to see the QQ8 flop. Karimi continued for 6,000 and Lee called before they both checked the 8 turn.

Lee led out for 13,000 on the 10 river and Karimi called. Lee turned over KK, but Karimi had AA to win the pot.
