Neugebauer Back to Start

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Max Neugebauer raised to 800 in the cutoff. Christopher Farmer made a small three-bet to 1,400 on the button, which George Tatalovich called in the small blind, and Neugebauer called as well.

It checked to Farmer on the 5K5 flop, and he continued for 1,200. Both opponents called, and they did so too when Farmer sized up to 3,000 on the K turn.

The 7 then fell on the river. Tatalovich checked again, but Neugebauer led out for 6,000. He received two quick folds, winning the pot without showdown.

Barbero Puts Pentefountas in the Blender

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Gustavo Barbero raised to 600 in early position and was met with a three-bet by Ioannis Pentefountas to 2,100 on the button. Barbero called, and the two players went to a flop.

Barbero checked-called a bet of 2,800 on the A83 flop, before springing a trap on the 8 turn.

When checked to, Pentefountas continued with a bet of 5,500, but would soon find himself in the blender as Barbero check-raised to 13,000.

Pentefountas went deep into the tank. He took his glasses off, sat back in his chair, sat forward again, and tried to engage in some conversation. All to no avail, as he continued to be at a loss for what to do.

After another minute or so had passed, Pentefountas returned his cards to the dealer, still with a suspicious look on his face.
