Bolacio Palacios raised to 1,300 in the hijack and Bradley Smith called in the cutoff. Tsugunari Toma then three-bet to 4,800 on the button and Palacios four-bet to 14,100. Smith folded, but Toma called to see the 8♣4♣4♠ flop.
Palacios continued for 3,300 and Toma called. Both players checked the A♣ turn, and Palacios also checked the 7♣ river. Toma then bet 46,000.
Palacios took a minute before another player at the table called the clock. Palacios protested that he hadn't been given enough time, but the tournament official still started the 30-second countdown after arriving at the table. Palacios allowed the clock to run out before his hand was declared dead, and Toma took down the pot.
