Casement Attempts River Bluff

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ivan Ruban raised to 325,000 in the hijack. Kajetan Renke called in the cutoff, and James Casement called on the button.

On the A102 flop, Ruban bet 375,000. Renke folded, but Casement called.

Both players checked on the K turn. On the 6 river, Ruban bet 675,000 and Casement raised to 1,500,000. Ruban didn't take long to call. Casement turned over 33, and Ruban turned over AJ for the winning hand.

Bartholdi Keeps Hope Alive With a Flopped Nine

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ryan Pringle raised to 480,000 from middle position, the rest of the table folded and Joseph Bartholdi was forced all in as he only had 160,000 in his stack and was at risk.

Joseph Bartholdi: A9 All in
Ryan Pringle: AK

The dealer ran out a board of Q97J8, and Bartholdi is hoping to draw inspiration from Jack Straus’s banner hanging nearby, as he still possesses the two key elements needed to win a tournament: a chip and a chair.

High Sails for Ruban's Boat

Level 30 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Ivan Ruban opened to 325,000 and got an all-in shove from the man to his immediate left, Timothy Joyner, for around 1,600,000. Action folded around back to Ruban, who called.

Timothy Joyner: QJ All in
Ivan Ruban: 1010

Ruban caught a set on the flop of 10K8 but Joyner still had hope with an open-ended straight draw. The runout 5J didn't give him his straight and improved Ruban's hand to a full house. Joyner's deep run ended as the tournament got smaller and fiercer.

Jason Li
Jason Li

Martijn Kiers raised to 325,000 from under the gun. Jason Li called out of the big blind to send them to a flop.

The flop came 257. Li checked, and Kiers put out 350,000. Li raised to 1,000,000. Kiers gave it some thought before he announced all in. Li called, and the cards were in their backs.

Martijn Kiers: 1010All in
Jason Li: 87

Kiers held the best hand after the flop, but Li had plenty of equity with his top pair and flush draw.

Kiers did not have to wait too long in suspense to find out the bad news as the 6 peeled off on the river to draw him dead. The 5 completed the board to eliminate Kiers from the tournament.

The flop came 422, and Ahmadi bet 375,000. Henager made the call.

Both players checked on the 10 turn. On the 9 river, Ahmadi bet 675,000, and Henager announced a raise to 1,400,000. Ahmadi beat him into the pot and waited for Henager to reveal his hand. Henager turned over KJ, and Ahamdi showed KK to win the pot.
