Mark Liedtke raised from under the gun and was called by Christian Malick in the hijack and Walter Treccarichi in the cutoff.

Liedtke took two, Malick took one, and Treccarichi took two. Liedtke checked, Malick bet, Treccarichi raised, Liedtke folded, and Malick called.

Malick took one while Treccarichi was now pat. Malick check-called for his final 10,000.

Malick took one again on the final draw.

Malick was drawing dead against Treccarichi's better nine. He caught an inconsequential 8x on the end as he wished his opponents good luck after a great run.

Both players drew one on the first draw and then Nedelcu called a bet from Abrams.

On the second draw, Nedelcu drew one and Abrams stood pat. Nedelcu again called a bet from Abrams.

The same drawing action occurred on the end and both players checked.

"Pair," Nedelcu announced. Abrams turned over 9x5x4x3x2x for nine-perfect and was awarded the pot.

Malick was ahead with a pair of eights. On seventh, Abrams went first and peeled the 8♥ to be left with king-high, and Malick got the double with the irrelevant 5♣ on the end, plus all the antes on a seven-handed table to almost triple.
