Big Chick Good Enough for Schlotter

Patricia Moore opened in middle position for 2,000 and got called by both Clare Schlotter in late and Liina Vark in the big blind.

The flop came 1096. All three knuckled to see a free turn.

The turn A dropped and after a check, Moore continued with 2,5000 and got called by Schlotter. Vark folded.

Both players checked the 8 river. Schlotter showed AQ prompting Moore to muck her hand.

Ehrhart Building More Chips

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Tammy Ehrhart raised from early position to 2,000, Marsha Wolak called from middle position, and Haven Taylor, who was the top female player in her home province of Alberta, Canada for the last two years, called from the big blind. The flop was 3JJ, and Taylor checked, while Ehrhart continued with 3,500, receiving a snap call from Wolak and a fold from Taylor.

Ehrhart wondered out loud, "Wow, a snap call".

The turn 5 received a check from both players.

Both players also checked the river K.

Ehrhart turned over 77 and Wolak stated, "Nice hand" and flipped over 66

Vaught Keep Grabbing Chips

The board already showed 7996 with a pot around 28,000 when Beth Gains checked to Tammy Vaught who bet 8,000. Gains considered it for a minute and let it go.

Chan Wins Multi-Way Pot

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

On a pot of around 7,000, five players were waiting for the flop to get dealt - blinds Michelle Dimaunahan and Samara Alexandre, Jennifer Mcintyre and Monica Chan in late position and Jenelle Exner on the button.

The flop came 9QK and all of them checked. The turn 8 fell and with action checked to her, Mcintyre bet 2,500 and got one caller in Chan.

They both saw the river drop 10. Mcintyre bet 2,500 and Chan went beyond and made it 7,500. Without hesitation, Mcintyre surrendered her hand and the pot to Chan.

Thirwell Hits the Trips

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Caitlin Comeskey raised from the hijack to 1,600, Zhi Liu called from the cutoff, and Marie Thirlwell called in the big blind. The flop was 252, and Thirlwell checked, while Comeskey bet out 2,100. Zhi got out of the way, but Thirwell put in the raise to 8,100. Comeskey contemplated and called.

On the turn K, Thirwell took the lead and bet out 12,000. Comeskey called.

The river 9 brought another bet of 13,500, which left her not much behind. Comeskey took a few minutes to think and made the call, but mucked when Thirlwell showed A2 for the trips.

Dusti Smith raised to 1,800 and received calls from Nikki Limo and Diana Shamshoum on the button.

The flop gave AJ5 and Smith continued for 2,700, which only Limo called. The Q turn and Q river went checked.

Smith tabled 44 but it wasn't good enough to win the pot as Limo held A10 for top two pair.

Yeung Builds Her Stack through Serfaty

Level 7 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

On a pot of around 15,000 and a board of JA4J, Karia Yeung fired 4,500 and got raised by her heads-up opponent, Laura Serfaty to 9,000, sending her to the tank.

She took her time to consider her options then finally made the call to see the last card. The river fell 5 and both women checked.
Serfaty tabled K10 for a busted gutshot draw while Yeung showed A8 for a two pair with the board.
