Wantman Stealing Some Pots

On the verge of a small pay jump, the action has slowed down, but that hasn't stopped Matthew Wantman from being very active. On this particular hand, Wantman raised to 80,000 from the cutoff, and Jose Angel Latorre called from the big blind.

The flop arrived with 482, and Latorre checked to the preflop raiser, who bet 50,000. Latorre pulled the check raise and put 150,000 in the pot. Wantman made the call.

On the turn K, Latorre checked, and Wantman put in an intimidating 260,000. Latorre folded and Wantman raked in some more chips.

Gallaher Doubles

Zhang Eliminated by Andrade

Hongru Zhang opened to 100,000 from the cutoff, leaving just 10,000 behind. Gabriel Andrade raised to 175,000 from the button and after taking a few minutes to tank Zhang called off with his last two T-5,000 chips, putting himself at risk.

Zhang was in bad shape against Andrade's pocket queens and failed to improve on the 7K1029 runout, resulting in his elimination.

Lim Wakes up With Kings to KO Rosenthal

Action was picked up on a board reading 4Q9. There was 350,000 in the middle, and Chao Duan had shoved for his remaining 340,000 chips. The only other play still in the hand, Fabian Niederreiter, made the call.

Keating Loses a Small One

There were roughly 150,000 chips in the pot on 965, Alex Keating bet 125,000 from under the gun when the flop came, Jose Angel Latorre called on the big blind.

Both players checked when the 4 hit the turn, and Latorre decided to lead for 150,000 on the J river. Keating went deep into the tank before he decided to fold.
