Gonzalez Gains from Feingold

Level 11 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

David Gonzalez had already opened from a middle position and got a call from Hans Bosman in the cutoff. Howard Feingold moved all in from the small blind for around 11,000. Gonzalez re-raised to 11,500 to cover and Bosman folded, leaving the players to go heads-up.

Howard Feingold: 10QAll in
David Gonzalez: 88

Feingold picked up a pair of tens on the 10J8 flop, but Gonzalez had hit a set of eights keeping him ahead.

The 7 turn saw Feingold celebrate as he thought he has secured the straight, but not realising there wasn't a nine on the board.

Feingold saw the 5 river and was still convinced he has won the hand, but another player at the table said, "wait, what straight?" and Feingold realised he had lost and was eliminated from the tournament.
