Elezra Walks Away, Binks River

Level 10 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Picking up the action on the turn on a board reading 7662, Eli Elezra was all in and at risk from under the gun with side action ongoing between Maria Ho on the button and David Lieberman in the big blind.

Lieberman checked to Ho, who bet, prompting Elezra to stand up and walk away from the table. Lieberman made the call to see the river.

The Q rolled off the deck on the river and both Ho and Lieberman checked to showdown. Ho tabled 99, good enough to best Lieberman for the side pot but Elezra held Q10 for the rivered pair to take down the main pot. By this point, he was halfway across the room and had to be called back to the table by Ho. "Oldest trick in the book," Elezra explained to the table as he re-took his seat.

Monchek Chipping Up

Level 10 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Daniel Negreanu raised after it folded to him on the button and was called by Michael Moncek in the big blind.

Moncek check-called bets from Negreanu on the flop and turn on a 10J5A board.

When the river came the 2 both players checked down and Moncek showed A3 for top pair, which was good to take the pot.

Quads for Schreiber

Level 10 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Matthew Schreiber opened from the cutoff with Brad Anderson defending out of the big blind.

Anderson check-called a bet from Schreiber on the Q56 flop.

The same betting pattern was repeated following the 5 turn.

The Q river double-paired the board but that did not deter Schreiber, who bet again after Anderson checked for a third time. Anderson quickly tossed in the call. "Quads" announced Schreiber as he turned over 55 to take down the pot.

Raise Gets it Done for Ho

Level 10 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Maria Ho opened from under the gun and then called after David Lieberman three-bet in middle position.

Ho checked to the preflop aggressor on the 10A10 flop before calling a continuation from Lieberman.

The Q turn saw Ho check once more. Lieberman put in another bet but seemed dismayed after Ho responded with a raise. After a moment's consideration, Lieberman tossed his hand face up into the muck.
