Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Chad Eveslage
Chad Eveslage

Seven Card Stud

Nicholas Julia: {x-}{x-} / {q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{2-Clubs}folded on fifth street
Ap Garza: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}folded on fifth street
Chad Eveslage: {x-}{x-} / {a-Spades}{4-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Ap Garza completed and Chad Eveslage raised. Nicholas Julia called, as did Garza. Eveslage bet on fourth street and got two calls. Eveslage paired his ace on fifth street and bet again, this time getting two folds.

"He's nuking it," said Julia. "And then gets the bailout package!"

"I was nuking it for sure," said Eveslage.

"And I get the ace first and then he pairs his," said Garza.

"You had queens?" Eveslage asked Julia.

"Of course!" came the reply.

"I had aces," said Eveslage.

Mirzikinian Triples Up

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

After the first draw, Warwick Mirzikinian was all in for around 25,000 and Craig Chait was all in for around 30,000. David Benyamine had both players covered and was looking for the double knockout. With all of the action complete, it was only time to draw cards.

Chait and Benyamine both drew two cards while Mirzikinian opted to draw one. On the final draw, Benyamine drew two cards while both short stacks just drew one.

Chait flipped over {8-}{7-}{6-}{2-} and drew a {j-} on his last card. Mirzikinian held {8-}{6-}{4-}{2-} and picked up a {5-} for an eight-six. Benyamine's first cards was a {k-} so he dumped his cards to the muck, allowing Mirzikinian to triple up and Chait took the side pot.

Weinman Among the Chip Leaders

Level 9 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Daniel Weinman
Daniel Weinman

Limit Hold'em

Daniel Weinman had previously won a large all-in showdown with {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} versus {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} as he improved to an unbeatable full house on the {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board.

Just now he was involved in a Limit Hold'em hand in which he bet out of the small blind on the {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop and called a raise by Ben Yu on the button. Weinman then check-called on the {10-Diamonds} turn and checked the {j-Spades} on the river.

Yu bet once more and Weinman sigh-called eventually to earn the pot with {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} versus {k-Spades}{8-Spades} thanks to his minor kicker advantage.
