Vieira Pulls Even

Level 23 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Joao Vieira limped in on the button and Aleksandr Shevlyakov raised to 30,000 in the big blind. Vieira shipped all in for 152,700 and Shevlyakov quickly called.

Joao Vieira: {2-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Aleksandr Shevlyakov: {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

It was a coin flip and the flop of {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} left Vieira in the lead. The {8-Spades} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Vieira pulled even in the match.

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante

Kane Kalas opened to 20,000 on the button and Mikita Badziakouski called. The flop fell {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Badziakouski check-called a bet of 20,000 from Kalas.

The turn was the {7-Spades} and both players checked to the {5-Hearts} on the river. Badziakouski sized up a bet of 100,000 and Kalas made the call. Badziakouski turned over {q-Hearts}{4-Spades} for top pair and Kalas mucked his cards.

Koon Comes All the Way Back

Level 22 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Jason Koon
Jason Koon

Jason Koon thought his tournament was over just 20 minutes ago but he was surprisingly left with 50,000 after running into a cooler. After a couple of double-ups, Koon held onto the chip lead and it was Nicolai Morris who was the short stack.

Morris shipped all in for around 82,000 on the button and Koon quickly called after looking at his cards. Morris held {k-Clubs}{5-Spades} but it was Koon that was ahead with {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

The flop of {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} gave Koon a huge advantage. The {5-Diamonds} on the turn and the {q-Clubs} on the river was not enough for Morris who was eliminated.

With around 100,000 in the pot and {k-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} on the board, Nicolai Morris bet 60,000. Jason Koon called and the turn was {q-Spades}.

Koon checked the turn and Morris shoved. Koon was covered and said, "I have a big hand, too."

Koon continued to tank. "You've played well enough. I think I have to call." After a few more moments Koon called.

Morris turned over {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and said, "Nice hand." Koon showed {k-Spades}{8-Spades} to take the pot with a pair of kings.

Shevlyakov Pulls Even with Vieira

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Joao Vieira raised it up to 17,000 on the button and Aleksandr Shevlyakov called in the big blind. The flop came {j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Shevlyakov checked to Vieira who continued for 12,000. Shevlyakov check-raised to 38,000 and Vieira called.

The turn brought the {8-Spades} and Shevlyakov fired out another bet of 27,000 which Vieira still called. The river was the {8-Clubs} and both players tapped the table. Shevlyakov turned over {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for a full house and Vieira conceded.
