Nolet Hits the Rail

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante
Nolet vs Sammartino
Nolet vs Sammartino

Dario Sammartino min-raised and then called a three-bet to 9,600 by Guillaume Nolet in the cutoff. On the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, Sammartino check-called for 5,750 and checked again the {9-Clubs} turn. Nolet ripped it in for 24,595 and was snap-called.

Guillaume Nolet: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Dario Sammartino: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds} river was a formality as Nolet had no outs to survive the showdown.

Negreanu Busts Enselme's First Bullet

Level 8 : 1,000/2,000, 250 ante

A raise from Daniel Negreanu in middle position saw a button call from Stoyan Madanzhiev and then an all in from Arnaud Enselme in the big blind for his last 58,037 chips. Negreanu went over the top which got a fold from Madanzhiev and hands were revealed.

Daniel Negreanu: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Arnaud Enselme: {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

Negreanu found himself in a dominating position and improved to a pair on the {10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} flop, although it did give Enselme a gutshot draw. The {5-Clubs} turn and the {4-Clubs} river changed nothing however, and Negreanu chipped up.

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Garbi vs Sammartino vs Nemeth
Garbi vs Sammartino vs Nemeth

Dario Sammartino got his short stack in and faced his nemesis from earlier, Andras Nemeth. However, Ravid Garbi was also involved out of the small blind to create a three-way showdown.

Dario Sammartino: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Ravid Garbi: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Andras Nemeth: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Sammartino tripled, while Garbi doubled in the side pot through Nemeth.

Negreanu's Trips Good for Chips

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

An early open to 3,360 from Daniel Negreanu saw a call from Matthew "JNCOJEW" Wantman in middle position and a defend from the big blind.

The flop of {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades} saw two checks and then a bet of 4,020 from Wantman. Only Negreanu called and the turn came the {k-Hearts}. Both players check to the river. The river {9-Clubs} saw a check-call from Negreanu of Wantman's 15,165 bet.

Daniel Negreanu: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Matthew "JNCOJEW" Wantman: {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

Negreanu's trips were good for the pot.

Mattsson Doubles Through Rolle

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Benjamin Rolle opened to 3,520 in the cutoff and Simon Mattsson three-bet to 10,800 in the small blind. Rolle jammed and Mattsson called for the 34,100 he had behind.

Simon Mattsson: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Benjamin Rolle: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

There was no upset on the {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades} board and Mattsson doubled to nearly the starting stack again.

Nemeth Leaves Sammartino Short

Level 7 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Sammartino vs Nemeth
Sammartino vs Nemeth

In the most classic of coin flips, Andras Nemeth was the player at risk against Dario Sammartino.

Andras Nemeth: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Dario Sammartino: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Nemeth took the lead on the {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} flop and retained it throughout the {10-Diamonds} turn and {2-Spades} river to leave Sammartino with crumbs.
