Martin Also Pushing Toward Six Figures

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Big O

With {7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs} on the felt, Jesse Martin bet 5,000 into 6,000 from the small blind. The big blind called and the {9-Clubs} hit on the river. Martin fire 10,000 this time and his opponent tanked around 30 seconds before releasing.

Glaser Nearing 100k

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

2-7 Single Draw

Matthew Schultz raised to 3,000 under the gun and Benny Glaser made it 11,500 on the button. Schultz called and drew a card, while Glaser was pat. Schultz checked and Glaser checked back.

Schultz showed {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} for a nut draw but a {2-} paired him. Glaser had a rough pat but it was enough: {q-}{9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}.

Chip Counts

Andrzejewski Pulls Better

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

2-7 Single Draw

Kris Lord got it all in from the small blind for 16,100 and Pawel Andrzejewski had him at risk in the big. Lord asked for a card and Andrzejewski had a big decision as he thought about 15 seconds before breaking whatever he held.

Kris Lord: {9-}{7-}{5-}{2-}
Pawel Andrzejewski: {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}

Lord had the slightly better four-card hand but it was all down to the final card. Andrzejewski turned over a {j-}. Lord peeled paint and the {q-} he had left him second-best.

Stockfish Out in Front

Lindner Loses the Last of his Stack

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Todd Ickow opened for 2,100 on the cutoff, and short-stacked Christopher Lindner shoved over the top for the last of his chips from the big blind.

Lindner threw up his hands in frustration when Ickow snap called and showed pocket aces.

Christopher Lindner: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Todd Ickow: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}

The {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop all but sealed the deal, though Lindner expressed some hope, possibly sarcastically, when the {10-Spades} came in on the turn. The river brought the {4-Hearts}, however, and Lindner's tournament was done.

Yu Trips Up Uccio

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Ben Yu and Steven Uccio were in the blinds in a three-way pot with an opponent on the hijack after the second draw. The action checked to Uccio on the big blind, who bet 3500. The hijack folded and Yu called.

Yu stood pat and Uccio drew one. Yu then led out for 7500 and got the call from Uccio, who mucked when he saw Yu's nut low {2-}{3-}{4-}{5-}{7-}.

Judah and Leonard Chop a Big One

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Patrick Leonard, in an earlier event.

Stud Hi-Lo

Four players made it to seventh street with a massive pot that looked to have around 70,000 or 80,000 in the middle.

Mel Judah: {x-}{x-}/{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades}{5-Spades}/{x-}
Patrick Leonard: {x-}{x-}/{a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}/{x-}
Third player: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}/{x-}
Fourth player: {x-}{x-}/{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}/{x-}

Judah bet and Patrick Leonard thought awhile and called. The others folded and Judah opened {a-Spades}{6-Spades} in disgust.

"Look what I was drawing to," he said, showing a {2-Diamonds} as his river for a weak pair.

Leonard had {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of aces to take the high.
