Jones Getting Short

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Rhys Jones got into a raising war with the player one seat over and both ended up getting their chips in the middle of the table with the opponent being at risk for his last 4,475. Jones had a flip with {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} versus {9-Spades}{9-Clubs} and could not get there on the {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} board.

Scott Loses Flip

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jackie Glazier also had a sad face when I walked by the another player was in the seat that formerly belonged to Kara Scott. It was a coin flip with {J-}{J-} versus {A-}{Q-} that would see her head to the rail.

A few Assorted Chip Counts

OCrowe Clinging On

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

A short-stacked Owen Crowe was all in preflop for 175 and the pot went five-ways to the flop.

The dealer fanned out a {2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} flop, and action was checked around to the player in late position who bet 475. The bet was called by players in under the gun and middle positions.

The turn introduced the {10-Clubs} and action checked to the late position raiser who bet 1650. Both players folded and the late position raiser tabled {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}, for ace-high. Crowe turned over {k-Spades}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of sixes and they would hold through the river {9-Diamonds}. Crowe pulled in the pot and gave himself some hope.

All these chip counts are from the Brasilia silver section.

Aidonopoulos Busts D'Angelo

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

The player in the hijack seat had raised to 450, Ryan D'Angelo had three-bet all in, and Theodoros Aidonopoulos was asking for a count of D'Angelo's stack. He eventually made the call and the initial raiser folded his hand.

Aidonopoulos: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}
D'Angelo: {j-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

D'Angelo flopped nearly as much as he could without actually hitting anything when the dealer turned over {8-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. The open-ender gave him some hope but the {3-Spades} turn was no help. The river was the {4-Clubs} and D'Angelo's fate was sealed. The dealer slid his chips one seat over to Aidonopoulos and D'Angelo exited the tournament.

No Dato

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Only 10 minutes ago, Andrea Dato moved all in out of the big blind after four limpers but received no call. Now he three-bet shoved with {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and got called by {A-}{Q-Clubs}. There were two clubs on the flop and the {Q-Hearts} on the turn saw the Italian drawing dead already.

Mandic Loses Mojo

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

The seat of Goran Mandic was occupied by another player and we quickly checked with Kevin Williams on what happened. Apparently he got his remaining stack in preflop with {A-}{Q-} and lost against {10-}{10-}.
