Burks Stands, Sits

Aram Zerounian raised to 37,000 under the gun, and the table folded around to the button. That's where Gary Burks took his stand, three-bet shoving for 139,000 total. Zerounian didn't want to, but he eventually made the call with a chance at the knockout.

Showdown
Zerounian: {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts}
Burks: {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts}

The flop was a disaster for Burks. It came out {4-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {6-Spades}, and he slid his chair out just a bit and shifted his weight to stand up. The dealer was speedy, though, and he immediately dropped the fourth card, the {Q-Spades}. Burks didn't even have a chance to stand up, and he quickly relaxed his weight and settled back into his chair. The river was the {9-Clubs}, and Burks has found his double to get back over 300,000.
