Kenny Hsiung Eliminated in 14th Place ($13,200)

Kenny Hsiung - 14th place
Kenny Hsiung - 14th place

Limit

Blind versus blind, Kenny Hsiung raised from the small and then called Jamie Rosen's three-bet in the big.

The flop came {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}, Hsiung bet, Rosen raised, and Hsiung got himself all in for his last 25,500. He was drawing very live with {K-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} against Rosen's {A-Clubs} {J-Clubs}. Hsiung spiked his {K-Diamonds} on the turn to pull into a brief lead, but the {10-Spades} river gave the pot to Rosen's Broadway straight.

That's it for Kenny Hsiung tonight, eliminated in 14th place.

Hsiung Not Doing Well

Limit

Kenny Hsiung raised under the gun, and Danny Hannawa was the only caller, in position and heads-up to the flop.

It came {Q-Spades} {3-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}, Hsiung bet, Hannawa raised, and Hsiung called.

Hsiung led back out on the {K-Diamonds} turn, and he got another bet in on the {A-Hearts} river. Hannawa called both bets, and he showed up {A-Clubs} {J-Hearts}. Aces up was better than Hsiung's {K-Hearts} {J-Clubs} and kings up, and that loss knocks Hsiung all the way down to just a few bets with 67,500 chips.

Amendola Doubles

Alfonso Amendola

No-Limit

The table folded around to Timothy Finne who opened for 12,500 from the small blind, then Alfonso Amendola shoved all in for 112,500 from the big blind. Finne quickly made the call, showing {A-Diamonds}{K-Spades}. Amendola tabled {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

The board went {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and Amendola's jacks held. Amendola doubles to 230,000, while Finne still has a big stack with 370,000.

Luke Vrabel Eliminated in 15th Place ($13,200)

Luke Vrabel - 15th place
Luke Vrabel - 15th place

No-Limit

Luke Vrabel shoved for 93,000 from middle position with {A-Spades} {Q-Hearts} and Michael Santoro reshoved from the small blind. He showed down {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs}, and Vrabel was a three-outer away from elimination.

Both of the case aces flopped, but Santoro's kicker kept him ahead on the {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {6-Spades} {5-Clubs} board. That's no good for Vrabel, and he's out of chips with fourteen players left.

Jovon Williams Eliminated in 18th Place ($10,459)

Jovon Williams - 18th place
Jovon Williams - 18th place

No-Limit

On the first hand of the no-limit round...

Jovon Williams open-shoved for 19,000. Gavin Smith called, and Kenny Hsiung moved all in for 61,000 from the small blind. Action was back on Smith, but Williams didn't see his initial call and he exposed his hand: {K-Diamonds} {Q-Diamonds}. Smith called with {A-Spades} {10-Spades} and Hsiung revealed that his {A-Spades} {K-Clubs} was dominating both players.

That came in handy when the board ran out {9-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {5-Diamonds}, sending Williams out in 18th place. Hsiung scoops the pot to climb to 150,000, and that moves him past Smith's 123,000.
