Martin Kabrhel Eliminated in 2nd Place (€153,615)

Level 20 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

The long short stack grind has finally come to an end for Martin Kabrhel. Stipo Vladic open-shoved from the small blind and Kabrhel called all in for his last 330,000 chips.

Vladic: {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Kabrhel: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}

The Czech was having the best of it preflop but all that was not worth much anymore as soon as the flop came {3-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The {2-Spades} on the turn left Kabrhel drawing to aces or kings only and it was the {4-Clubs} on the river that ended the tournament at almost 8 a.m. local time (and 30 minutes later on the delayed live stream). For his efforts, Kabrhel takes home €153,615 whereas Vladic is the newest member in the circle of WSOP circuit champions.
