Fortuitous Turn Saves Locatelli

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The flop read {3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Raffaello Locatelli moved all in for his remaining 59,000 to put the decision on Michael Wang who assessed the situation.

After several moments Wang put the chips in the middle for the call. And it was a good call as Locatelli only had the {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} while Wang led with the {j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

But the {a-Spades} came next to turn the tables and the {9-Diamonds} on the river sewed it up for Locatelli who let out a vocal celebration as he was saved.

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Thomas Boyden opened from under the gun and David Dibernardi moved all in for 27,000, Boyden called.

David Dibernardi: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and an {8-Spades} then landed on the turn. Dibernardi stood up from his seat as he had just one hope in landing a double and the unlikely {k-Diamonds} landed on the river, putting Dibernardi back into his seat as he survived thanks to a rivered king.
