Evgeny Starikov Eliminated in 17th Place ($15,700)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We're not exactly sure how they got their chips in, but Christian Christner and Evgeny Starikov were all in before the flop. Starikov was short for some time, so the pot wasn't all that big.

Christian Christner: {6-Spades}{4-Spades}
Evgeny Starikov: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Starikov had waited long for a premium, but it was too late as his stack had no fold equity anymore whatsoever.

The {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} favored Christner, and Starikov had to hit the pay out desk.

Redraw

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

There was supposed to be a redraw at 18, but right as Alexander Bogdanov busted, Serdar Sağlam departed as well. So there has been a redraw, but just with 17 players. Still two minutes to play before break.

Serdar Sağlam Eliminated in 18th Place ($15,700)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Serdar Sağlam and Alexander Lakhov got their chips in the middle before the flop. It was a classic set up, as Lakhov proudly turned over {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, while Sağlam had to do with {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}.

The {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} board improved neither, and Sağlam made his exit in 18th place.

Alexander Bogdanov Eliminated in 19th Place ($13,800)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Alexander Bogdanov
Alexander Bogdanov

Ori Miller opened the button for 24,000, and Alexander Bogdanov shoved all in from the small blind for just about 200,000. The big blind folded, Miller made the call as soon as he found out how much it was.

Miller: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Bogdanov: {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}

The {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{5-Hearts} left some outs for a chop, and the {A-Spades} on the turn brought a flush draw, but paired both. The {8-Clubs} on the river wasn't high enough, and Alexander Bogdanov made his exit.

Markus Ross Eliminated in 20th Place ($13,800)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Markus Ross has been eliminated from the tournament. He ran ace-nine into Alexander Nudin's {J-}{J-}. No suck out for Ross, and leaves in 20th place, worth $13,800.

Since Ross is the best partypoker qualifier, he receives a Monster headphone from the tournament organisation.

Yuri Salikaev Eliminated in 21st Place ($13,800)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

We walked up to table 2 as there was already some action underway. With a flop of {A-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, Yuri Salikaev had checked from the big blind to his opponent Andrejs Perederejevs who bet 28,000.

Salikaev raised to 60,000, with about 72,000 behind. Perederejevs announced all in after a minute or so, and now gave it some serious thoughts. He eventually called, revealing {A-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for top pair. He was behind as Perederejevs showed {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}.

The {2-Clubs} on the turn and {K-Spades} on the river were of no help to Salikaev, and the Russian made his exit.

Marco Della Tommasina Eliminated in 22nd Place ($12,300)

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Marco Della Tommasina shoved the remainder of his stack in from the hijack and Serdar Sağlam right behind him made the call. All other players folded, and Sağlam showed he was ready to finish the job.

Marco Della Tommasina: {A-Clubs}{8-Spades}
Serdar Sağlam: {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The {4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts} board proved no help for the Italian, as he made his exit in 22nd place for $12,300.

The remaining 21 players are now guaranteed $13,800.

Serdar Sağlam Doubles With Kings Thorugh Ace-King

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Serdar Sağlam open shoved under the gun for 120,000 even, and big blind Marco Della Tommasina was quick to call.

Sağlam frowned, waited for Della Tommasina to show his {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, and then tabled {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} himself.

The {3-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} on the flop gave Della Tommasina some outs, but the {6-Diamonds} on the turn and {2-Clubs} on the river were blanks and Sağlam doubled.
