Adams Donks Turn; Busts Luca

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Ivan Luca opened in middle position to 60,000 and got called by Kevin Martin in the cutoff, Kelvin Kerber on the button, and Timothy Adams in the small blind.

The AK8 flop landed and action checked to Luca who continued for 65,000. Only Martin and Adams called.

The 10 rolled off on the turn and after a minute in the tank Adams went with a donk-lead of 155,000. Only Luca called.

The blank 4 landed on the river and after about 30-seconds in the tank Adams moved all in covering Luca. He called pretty quickly and got the bad news.

Adams tabled 63 for a fast played flush and Luca tabled QJ for Broadway with the heart blocker. Luca hit the rail after a fairly cold deck.

Refaelowitz Fills Up

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

In a hand relayed to Pokernews, 2023 Colossus champion Moshe Refaelowitz completed in the small blind and Elias Talvitie raised to 60,000 in the big blind. Refaelowitz called.

Refaelowitz check-called a bet on the flop of 8x6x6x and both players then checked on the 4x turn. Refaelowitz bet 50,000 on the 7x river and Talvitie jammed to put Refaelovitz all in. Refaelowitz called.

Talvitie showed Kx2x for just king-high as Refaelowitz turned over 76 to double up with sixes full of sevens.

Six-Bet in Paradise

Level 22 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kazuhiko Yotsushika opened to 50,000 before the action was on Vladimir Minko who put in a three-bet to 180,000. It was then back on Yotsushika who put in a warm four-bet to 500,000.

Minko went in to the tank and eventually put in a minimum five-bet to 900,000 with only about 100,000 back. Yotsushika snap six-bet jammed for the last of Minko's stack.

He went in to the tank and got the clock called as he was waiting to see if he could make a pay jump. After using his full time he called and the cards hit their backs.

Vladimir Minko: AK
Kazuhiko Yotsushika: QQ

It was a classic flip until the 810A hit the flop. The 6 turn and 10 river did not improve the queens of Yotsushika and Minko earned a pure double.
