Labbe Finds a Miracle River to Chop With Serda

Level 29 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

With 28.6 million in the pot, on a board reading {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Spades}, Sebastien Labbe led out for 11.5 million. Patrick Serda was in the cutoff and raised to 28.5 million. Labbe shoved for 123.9 million and Serda snap-called.

In the biggest pot played so far, for a total of 270 million, Serda tabled the nuts with {q-Spades}{10-Spades}. Labbe was disappointed as he tabled the second-nuts with {10-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

The river, however, was the {q-Hearts} and Labbe's tournament life was saved to chop the pot after a massive hand gone wrong.

Mike Leah Takes the Chip Lead

Level 29 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

With 50,000,000 already piled in the middle and a board reading {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, Maurizio Lo Russo checked holding {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Mike Leah bet 15 million with {k-Spades}{10-Spades}.

Lo Russo thought for a few moments before making the call. Leah showed him the flush and the dealer pushed him the pot.

With that pot, Leah now holds the chip lead.

Julian Volpe woke up with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} in the big blind and three-bet to 9.6 million. Leah then four-bet jammed all-in for 33 million, getting a call from Labbe and Volpe.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Volpe check-folded after Labbe shoved.

Labbe picked up some outs when the {7-Hearts} fell on the turn but the river was the {2-Spades} and Leah raked in a massive pot to triple up.

Level 28 : 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Kevin Rivest opened to 3.5 million from under the gun with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} and action folded around to Mike Leah who called out of the big blind with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}.

Leah checked dark as an ace-high flop ran out. Rivest continued with a bet of 3 million and Leah called. The {6-Spades} fell on the turn and both players checked to see the {3-Spades} on the river. Both checked again and Rivest took down the pot.
