Minkin Eliminated

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We found Kelly Minkin in the big blind considering the all-in shove of Ralph Westbrook, in the cutoff on a board of {2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. She slid in her stack of about 20,000, slightly less than Westbrook's shove. Westbrook turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Spades} and got out of his seat, but he was miles ahead of Minkin's {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}. Only a jack would save Minkin, but the river was an {8-Spades}.

Aaron Massey, Matthew Laposse All in Preflop

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Aaron Massey opened in the cutoff, Matthew Lapossie three-bet from the button and Massey shoved. Lapossie called and the cards were turned up.

Massey: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}
Lapoisse: {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}

The board ran {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}{5-Clubs} and Massey earned a full double up.

Preflop Raising War between Anderson & Greenblatt

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
Calvin Anderson
Calvin Anderson

Kane Kalas opened the action to 2,100, Alex Greenblatt raised to 5,600 behind him and Calvin Anderson re-raised to 11,700 from the big blind. Kalas mucked his hand, Greenblatt took some time before moving all in and Anderson quickly called.

Anderson: {Q-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}
Greenblatt: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}

The board ran {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}, Greenblatt spiked his ace on the river and Anderson was eliminated after their stacks were counted.

Zhang Applies Pressure to Perez

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

We found Wei Zhang and Edgar Perez on a flop with nearly 10,000 in the pot already. The board was {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}, Zhang checked from the big blind, Perez bet 3,300 and Zhang check-raised to 10,000.

Perez thought for a bit and then called. The turn came {4-Hearts}, Zhang snap-shoved all in for a little more than 36,000 and Perez went deep into the tank. After a stretch, but not an outrageous amount of time, a player not involved in the hand called for the clock.

About halfway through his minute count down Perez let his hand go.

Lewis Triples Up in Bizarre Pot

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante

After an under-the-gun limp, a player next to act made it 7,500 to go. Austin Lewis jammed 16,000 on the button, and the limper shoved 27,000 in. The original raiser called.

UTG: {k-}{k-}
Lewis: {a-}{k-}
Third player: {j-}{8-}

The flop came ace-high, and the pair of aces stood for a triple up for Lewis while the player with kings collected a side pot.

Three to a Flop, Three Shoves

Level 7 : 300/600, 75 ante

We found a dealer counting down stacks, moving chips around the table and making a side pot on a flop of {J-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Two players were nearly even and Scot Koiner had them both covered. After the pot was right the cards were tabled.

Lech: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Barker: {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}
Koiner: {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}

Lech was all in for the main pot and Barker had a small side pot he could win.

The board completed {7-Spades}{10-Diamonds} - giving Barker and Lech the queen-high straight and chopped the main pot.
