Coimbra Doesn't Believe Gras Borras

Level 14 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a battle small blind versus big blind, Marc Gras Borras check-called the {9-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop for 7,000 against Manuel Coimbra and they checked the {j-Clubs} on the turn. Gras Borras then bet the {7-Diamonds} river for 12,000 and Coimbra went into the tank.

Eventually, the Portuguese called and Gras Borras tabled the {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts} for a bluff, which Coimbra had beat with the {a-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Lewis Among Recent Casualties

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Romain Lewis
Romain Lewis

It appears that Romain Lewis has been eliminated from the live-streamed feature table. He will likely be taking part in the Beer Pong activities after a triple barrel bluff in a battle of the blinds ended his run for now.

The small blind had limped, Lewis raised to 4,800 with the {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and was called. His opponent check-called for 2,800 on the {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, 6,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn and 17,000 on the {5-Diamonds} river. Once the shove was called, the opponent tabled the {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} to knock out Lewis.

Davidi Kitai also vanished from the Mandalay Room, which currently only left Francois Pirault in the mix.

Assorted Counts

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Former big stack Johan Creutz has been eliminated and all the chips appeared to have been sent over to Henry Dupont, who is one of the current big stacks in the main tournament room. Some further assorted counts can be found below.

Chantereau Doubles Through Bruguiere

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Nans Bruguiere three-bet to 21,000 once Yann Chantereau had raised and received a caller. The initial raiser jammed and Bruguiere called as the superior stack.

Yann Chantereau: {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}
Nans Bruguiere: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

While the {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Spades} flop improved Bruguiere, and the {10-Spades} turn was a blank, the {a-Spades} river restored the preflop order and Chantereau doubled for 40,000.

Two Barrels Work for Herrera Medina

Level 13 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Nacho Barbero arrived with a fresh stack in the tournament area and saw an ongoing heads-up pot. On the {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop, Herrera Medina made it 10,000 to go and his only remaining opponent came along. As the {6-Hearts} fell on the turn, Herrera Medina quickly bet 12,000 and that won the pot without any further resistance.
