turn sealed the hand for Monarch and he collected the pot after the 
completed the board on the river.

Phil Mader opened for 8,000 from early position and action folded around to Jason Monarch who defended his big blind.
The flop came 
, Monarch check-called Mader's 9,000 continuation bet and did the same for 18,000 after the 
appeared on the turn.
Once the 
completed the board on the river, Monarch checked his option one last time only to fold after Mader fired out one last bullet for 20,000.

Chad Bjorkman limped in from under the gun and action folded to the hijack player who raised to 8,000.
Mike Anderson called from the cutoff, as did Erv Bjerga from the small blind and Bjorkman tossed in his chips brining the four players to the 
flop.
Bjorkman led out for 20,000 and the bet was uncontested as he raked in the pot.

The criteria to earn a spot on the MSPT Hall of Fame is as follows:
- Achieve a minimum of 25 MSPT Main Event Cashes and 1 MSPT Win OR 1 MSPT Player of the Year; or
- Achieve a minimum of 10 MSPT Main Event Final Tables and 1 MSPT Win OR 1 MSPT Player of the Year
