Friedman's Aces Felted

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Adam Friedman's seat was recently found to be empty and his now-former tablemates provided the details of his elimination.

Preflop, Friedman raised to 1,200 in early position and received four calls.

On a {k-}{q-}{q-} flop, action checked through to see a {7-} fall on the turn.

Friedman led out for 1,800, Scott Lennon called, and Vladimir Medvinsky raised to 6,000.

Friedman then moved in for around 30,000 and only Medvinsky called showing {7-}{7-} for a turned full house.

A {4-} on the river couldn't save Friedman, who still has plenty of time to re-enter today should he choose.

After Felipe Davila opened under the gun with a raise to 1,100, four players called including Adam Friedman and Brad Sailor. Scott Lennon then put in a three-bet from the big blind to 5,500, with only Ulises Liaina in the cutoff and Friedman on the button calling.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, and Lennon continued for another 10,000. Liaina folded and Friedman counted out his stack before moving all in for a bit more. Lennon called and was behind.

Adam Friedman: {4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}
Scott Lennon: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The turn and river brought the {3-Clubs} and {5-Clubs} giving Friedman a big pot to boost his stack over double starting.
