Steven Gantner - 9th
Steven Gantner - 9th

After Steven Lauson's elimination, it was back to normal for this final table. They continued to play tight and wait to see who would break first.

Steven Gantner was just under 300,000 after one orbit and shoved under the gun with {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}. The action folded all the way to Marius Toderici on the button. He hesitated for a second before going all in. Ryan Perez and John Hayes folded from the blinds.

Toderici had {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and was way ahead. His hesitation might have been a ploy to get more action, or perhaps a deep breath before he played a hand that could easily change his fate in this tournament.

The board was friendly to Toderici when it ran out {k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Gantner was eliminated.

Steven Lauson Eliminated in 10th Place ($4,762)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

After getting one shove through with barely more than two big blinds, Steven Lauson shoved again for around 100,000. Thomas Peebles called and the two players were heads up.

Peebles had {5-Spades}{6-Spades} and Lauson was ahead with {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}. However, when the flop hit, Peebles would take the lead and not look back.

He flopped trips on the {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} board and eliminated Lauson.

Sort of Back

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

After the first seven hands of the final table it looks like the players might have a bit of break lag. Every pot has been opened for a raise, for amounts ranging from 40,000 to 55,000 and only once has there been a flop.

Steven Lauson, the short stack even shoved 50,000 and the big blind of 20,000 folded.

The one flop that has been seen was check-raised on the turn and didn't go past that.
