Rothman Gets a Shove Through

Banks Solomons raised to 3,500 in the small blind and Tanith Rothman called from the big blind with a shorter stack behind. The 964 flop saw Solomons continue for 3,000 and Rothman jammed nearly instantly for around 12,900. Solomons gave it a few seconds of consideration and folded.

Van Villing Takes From Rahme

Kevin van Villing and Joe Rahme both invested 10,000 on the K76J turn and the former then checked the 8 river out of the big blind. "Check," Rahme declared and added "you missed your flush draw?!".

That was indeed the case, but the A6 of van Villing still won the pot as Rahme only had 65.

Giannakopoulos Takes It on the Flop

Pano Giannakopoulos arrived with a group of players from Tanzania and opened the action with a raise to 3,000 from under the gun. He was called only by Dhinesh Soopramanien in the small blind, who opted to check the 1084 flop. Giannakopoulos continued for 3,500 and that was enough to win the pot.
