Around 18,000 was in the middle on a flop of A♥7♥5♠, and Benjamin Richards fired out a bet of 6,500. Marion Mizzi folded but Ignazio Ulma called.

On the 3♠ turn, things got a bit funky. Richards checked, Ulma slid out a bet of 13,000, and Richards snap check-jammed for around 52,000. Ulma couldn't get his chips into the middle quickly enough.

Richards had turned third pair into a bluff and was drawing dead against Ulma's set of sevens, and the 8♥ river completed the board.

Andrea Cannizzaro opened to 2,500 from early position and action-man Nuno Morais called in the big blind.

The flop came 7♠5♥4♣, and Morais check-called a bet of 1,900 from Cannizzaro.

The same pattern followed on the Q♥ turn, this time in respect of a bet of 5,000 from the Italian.

The 3♥ river was quickly checked through. Morais tabled 6♠2♥ for the rivered one-card straight, and Cannizzaro mucked.

There was 24,000 in the middle on a flop of K♦3♣2♦, and Iganzio Ulma was all-in for 22,500, with Marion Mizzi in the tank, who ultimately made the call.

It was top pair versus flush draw, and although Mizzi picked up a pair on the 10♠ turn, she could not improve further on the A♣ river.

On the K♦10♦5♥ flop, Vaux check-called in the face of a bet of 1,500 from Ritrovato.

The 9♠ turn was quickly checked to the 6♣ river, where Vaux led out with a bet of 3,500, leading to a fold from Ritrovato.

There was 2,100 in front of Ilona Aleksandroviene, Xinyue Tan was all-in for around 5,000, and Doriney Carvalho had called. After some thought, Aleksandroviene got out of the way.

Tan needed some help, but there was an ace in the window on the A♣4♦2♦ flop, and although some hope arrived for Tan on the K♦ turn, the 2♥ river was a brick.

Shane Dempsey opened to 2,500 under the gun, and was met with a three-bet to 7,500 from Sebastian Curcu in the next seat.

Pavle Pecelj was on the button, and after craning his neck to see the respective stacks of his opponents, and thinking for a bit, he produced a cold four-bet to 17,000. Dempsey quickly got out of the way, as did Curcu, but he seemed more frustrated than Dempsey in having to fold.

Andrei Makavets opened to 1.600 from middle position, and called a three-bet to 5,100 from Grzegorz Grochulski in the next seat.

The A♥K♦10♠ flop was checked to the 4♦ turn, where Makavets led out with a bet of 5,500, and Grochulski called.

The 10♦ river completed the board, and Makavets fired again with a bet of 15,100.

Grochulski took a fair bit of time before calling, and tapped the table and mucked when Makavets showed A♠10♣ for two pair.

Xinyue Tan limped in early position, and Yves Farges followed suit, before Oliver Mihajlovski raised to 5,500 from the big blind. Both of his opponents called.

On the 10♥4♥3♥ flop, Mihajlovski continued with a bet of 6,000, which only Tan called.

The 5♣ rolled off on the turn, and Tan folded in the face of a jam from Mihajlovski of 50,000 with the covering stack.
