In a three-way limped pot, the dealer spread the flop of A♥7♣4♣ across the felt. Lincoln Lau tossed in a bet of 3,500 from the big blind and the player on his left called.

The A♣ paired the board on the turn and Lau made another bet of 3,500. His opponent still called and the 5♠ completed the board. Lau checked this time and his opponent quickly checked it back. Lau tabled Q♥7♦ for two pair and his opponent mucked K♥J♠ for just king-high.

Christian Rico raised to 4,000 in the hijack and Romulo Dorea ripped all in for around 28,000 from the small blind. Rico instantly called and the two players exchanged some friendly banter before the cards were tabled.

Dorea was fighting an uphill battle but the flop of K♥10♣5♠ gave him some hope with a straight draw. The 8♦ on the turn was irrelevant and the K♣ river also bricked out, sending Dorea to the rail.

Boen Pushes Ortega Out

There was a raise to 3,500 from under the gun which was called by Jean Ortega in the hijack and Leonardo Boen in the big blind. The flop fell A♣5♣4♠ and the preflop raiser continued with a bet of 3,500. Ortega called and Boen sized up a check-raise to 14,000 which only Ortega called.

The turn was the 9♠ and Boen pushed all in for his last 43,000 chips. Ortega picked up his cards and showed A♠J♥ as he announced that he was folding to the table.

Gustavo Bonani raised to 3,000 in middle position and Jean Ortega defended from the big blind. The flop came 4♥4♦3♣ and Ortega check-called a bet of 3,500 from Bonani.

The turn was the K♥ and Ortega checked again. Bonani tossed in a bet of 6,000 and Ortega min-clicked it with a raise to 12,000. Bonani ripped all in for his last 26,000 chips and Ortega quickly called.

Bonani turned over 10♠10♥ but Ortega flopped the best with 9♠4♠. The river was the 5♣ and Bonani was bounced from the tournament shortly after registration closed.

After a raise to 3,000 in the hijack, John Arne Riise stuck in a three-bet to 9,000 on the button. The blinds got out of the way, and the hijack called.

The flop fell 10♥6♦4♥ and Riise continued his story with a bet of 7,000. His opponent check-called and the 2♣ landed on the turn. Riise reached back for a bet of 15,000 this time and his opponent instantly mucked his cards. Riise showed the table his J♥J♦ as he raked in the pot.

There was a raise to 3,000 from under the gun which the small blind called and Deniz Anselmo came along from the big blind. The flop came Q♦8♣5♣ and Anselmo check-called a bet of 3,500 from the under-the-gun player.

They went heads-up to the 6♠ on the turn where Anselmo check-called another bet of 11,000 from his opponent. The 5♥ paired the board on the river and both players tapped the table. Anselmo showed A♣Q♠ which was just enough to better his opponent's K♥Q♣ for another pot.
