Win One Lose One
Sok Chean opened to 12,000 from middle position before Cirilo Esnardo made the call from the cutoff.
The 10♥3♥10♦ flop led to a continuation bet of 15,000 from Chean. Esnardo did not wait long before he raised it to 55,000 in response. Chean gave it some thought before he folded to award the pot to Esnardo.
The very next hand, Esnardo opened to 12,000 from the hijack. Mark Katz went all-in for 22,000 on the button and was called by Esnardo to be at risk.
Mark Katz: K♠6♠
Cirilo Esnardo: 5♦4♥
Katz held the edge preflop, but the flop favored Esnardo when it came 8♦4♥9♠ to give Esnardo a pair of fours and the lead.
Katz recaptured the lead when the 6♥ peeled on the turn to give him a pair of sixes.
The 6♣ river upgraded him to trip sixes as Katz scored the double-up.
