In a blind versus blind battle, Kellen Hunter got in his last 1,800,000 on a flop of 2♥Q♦3♠ as Steve Kelly put him at risk.

Kyle Shipman moved all in again from the cutoff, and this time Shane Koenig called for 1,600,000 in the big blind.

On the last hand before break, Kim Rasmussen raised to 450,000 in the cutoff and Mitch Hogue called on the button.
Rasmussen moved all in for 1,600,000 on the Q♣Q♥10♠ flop, and Hogue folded. "From 500,000, now I'm over 3,000,000. I'm still short," Rasmussen said as the players went off on break.
Riley Vareberg moved all in for 975,000 under the gun as action went on Jamie Meidinger on the button. He took a minute before folding, but Shane Koenig quickly called in the big blind.

Vareberg hit top pair on the 10♥8♣6♠ flop, while Koenig picked up a straight draw. The turn was the 7♥, while the 8♦ river was safe for Vareberg to double up.
"I had the better ace, but I still would've lost," Meidinger said, saying he folded ace-jack. "He hasn't played a hand," he explained.
Preston Dean limped in from the hijack and Joann Counts moved all in for 250,000 in the small blind. Steve Kelly called in the big blind, as did Dean.
Kelly and Dean checked down the 6♠2♦3♣J♣2♠ board. Kelly showed K♣Q♠, while Counts mucked Q♥9♣ and Dean K♦7♦ as Kelly took the pot with king-high, queen-kicker to send Counts to the rail in 12th place.
At the other table, Kyle Shipman bet 450,000 from the big blind on a board of 6♥8♣8♥3♣ and Kamden Keleher called in the hijack.
Shipman moved all in for 1,900,000 on the 4♣ river, sending Keleher deep into the tank. He eventually folded after a few minutes.
Steve Kelly limped in under the gun and Kim Rasmussen moved all in for his last 400,000 on the button. "Call this if you don't like money," he told Joann Counts, who also committed her last 625,000 in the big blind. Kelly also called.

Kelly picked up a flush draw on the 9♦6♠9♠5♦ with a chance to bust both players and set the final table, but he missed the 10♠ river and Rasmussen took the pot with his queen-kicker to triple up.

Both players checked the J♣J♠8♠ flop. Kelly also checked the 9♥ turn, Hunter bet 300,000, and Kelly tossed ace-king into the muck.
"Golly," Hunter said, showing Kelly two queens as he took a relatively small pot for the cards they held.
