Hunichen Comes From Behind

Chris "Big Huni" Hunichen used a timely river card to send his latest victim to the rail. Norway's "golferen50" min-raised to 24,000 from middle position and Hunichen moved all in from the big blind for more than 306,000, having his opponent covered. golferen50 called with {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} and was poised to double up against Hunichen's {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, but the {2-Spades}{6-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} board gave Hunichen a pair of eights and a pot worth more than 470,000.

Mickey Petersen Eliminated

Any hopes of a Team PokerStars pro winning the WCOOP Main Event were dashed with the elimination of Mickey "mement_mori" Petersen in 52nd place. Just before the break, Petersen ran his {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} into the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} of high-stakes cash regular "WhySoSrsSon" and failed to improve, sending the Team PokerStars Online member to the rail.

WhySoSrsSon is now among the chip leaders with more than 1.6 million.
