Glantz Spotted; "dirtyjerzgent" Finds Higher Two Pair

Level 5 : 75/150, 20 ante
"dirtyjerzgent" Finds Better Two Pair
"dirtyjerzgent" Finds Better Two Pair

A blind-on-blind battle between "acooper153" and "dirtyjerzgent" saw a limped pot bring a flop of {q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. "acooper153" bet 150 in the small blind and "dirtyjerzgent" called in the big blind.

The turn came {2-Hearts} and "acooper153" bet again, this time for 600. "dirtyjerzgent" called and the river fell {3-Clubs}. "acooper153" bet another 1,050 and "dirtyjerzgent" made the call to take the hand to showdown.

"acooper153" showed {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a turned jacks up, but it was no good as "dirtyjerzgent" had flopped top and bottom pair with {q-Clubs}{5-Hearts} to show the best hand and earn the pot. As a result, "acooper153" now finds themselves as one of the shortest stacks in the tournament with blinds set to go up in just a few short minutes.

Meanwhile, Matt Glantz was spotted at the table as well, going by the screen name "matt glantz." Glantz is no stranger to the poker world, with over $7 million in live earnings dating back to a second-place finish in Atlantic City in 1999.

"NoRecours3" Finds a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Level 4 : 60/120, 15 ante
"NoRecours3" Busts Bullet One
"NoRecours3" Busts Bullet One

"maynardsdik" was under the gun and raised to 240. "NoRecours3" three-bet to 720 in early position and action folded back to "maynardsdik," who called.

The flop was {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and "maynardsdik" went all in for the effective 3,600 that "NoRecours3" had left in their stack, more than double the size of the pot. "NoRecours3" made the call.

"NoRecours3": {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
"maynardsdik": {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

"NoRecours3" found themselves having made the right call with their ace high but still needed to fade the eight remaining diamonds in the deck as well as the six live outs to a pair. The turn {6-Hearts} was safe, but the river {q-Diamonds} gave "maynardsdik" the flush to score the knockout and send "NoRecours3" onto bullet number two.

"Solitarygrounds" Leads the River

Level 4 : 60/120, 15 ante

"pharmaDoogie" raised to 240 in middle position and saw action fold around to "Solitarygrounds" in the big blind, who defended.

The flop fell {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts} and "Solitarygrounds check-called a continuation-bet of 300 from "pharmaDoogie" to bring the turn {q-Clubs} on board. "Solitarygrounds" checked again and "pharmaDoogie" continued once more, betting another 600. "Solitarygrounds" called.

The river came {8-Diamonds} and "Solitarygrounds" led out for 1,230. "pharmaDoogie" called.

"Solitarygrounds" showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a rivered straight and saw the pot shipped their way as "pharmaDoogie" mucked, unable to produce a hand that topped it.

Action folded around to "Fort Matilda" in the hijack, who opened to 300 and saw "PepeLePoquer" defend their big blind.

The flop dropped {8-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and "PepeLePoquer" checked over to "Fort Matilda," who made a continuation-bet of 600. "PepeLePoquer" called.

The turn was {3-Clubs} and "PepeLePoquer" checked again. "Fort Matilda" made another bet of 1,080 and "PepeLePoquer" called. Action then checked through the river {7-Hearts} to take the hand to showdonw.

"PepeLePoquer" tabled {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a pair of aces and "Fort Matilad" mucked, resulting in "PepeLePoquer" earning the pot with their flopped top pair.
