Marcin Horecki on Day 1d of the Main Event

PokerStars Team Pro Marcin Horecki just walked in with a ticket in the hand and soon after sat down. Further new faces include Besim Hot, who is known around Rozvadov and Austria for high stakes cash game sessions, as well as Michal Ozimek and Paul Skipper.

Skipper finished 15th in the PokerStars Festival London £990 Main Event back in January and is looking to better that result here in Rozvadov.

Lauck and Stavridis Build Stacks

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

On the {Q-Spades}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} river, Aviv Meiri bet 2,700 out of the big blind and Paris Stavridis on the button was his sole opponent. The German with Greek roots eventually called and Meiri turned over {A-Clubs}{10-Spades} for just ace-high. Stavridis had that beat with {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Meiri took off his sunglasses to glance at the board and smile about what had just happened.

One table over, the board lay {7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Aleksandar Tomovic bet 1,500. Jonas Lauck called in the cutoff and the {6-Clubs} fell on the river. Tomovic now checked and Lauck bet 4,000. After brief consideration, Tomovic called and Lauck rolled over {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for a full house to scoop the pot.

A New Table Opens

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Table five has opened to accommodate new entries and the screens currently show 39 players. [Removed:197] and Jonas Lauck are back for more high roller action, and the new table featuresPierre Neuville, Vlado Banicevic, [Removed:170], Jack Hardcastle and Michael Uguccioni.

In one of the first hands, Banicevic bet the {K-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop for 400 and was called by Uguccioni before firing another 1,100 on the {7-Clubs} turn. That won the pot without showdown.

One hand later, Uguccioni raised to 300 and was called by Neuville and Banicevic. On the {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop, Banicevic checked to Uguccioni and the Italian continued for 500. Both opponents called, then got out of the way on the {Q-Spades} turn to another bet worth 1,500 by Uguccioni.

Tomovic Takes from Monteforte

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Claudio Monteforte has started well and took a few early pots to increase the stack. Fresh off forcing another fold on a jack-high turn, the Italian opened to 300 and one player caller. Aleksandar Tomovic three-bet to 1,500 on the button and Monteforte as well as the third player called.

On the {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, all three players checked. Tomovic then bet the {4-Hearts} turn when checked to him, and that forced two folds.

Ivanov Takes from Molaci

Level 1 : 50/100, 0 ante

Joining the action on the three-way flop of {J-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, Kayhan Molaci in the small blind, Mladen Ivanov in the big blind and initial raiser Dinesh Alt on the button were involved and invested 600 each. Molaci then checked the {4-Spades} turn and Ivanov bet 1,200, Alt and Molaci both called.

On the {A-Clubs} river, the action checked to Ivanov and he bet 3,500. Alt folded after some consideration, but Molaci called and then mucked when Ivanov showed him {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the nut flush.
