Baaten Busted by Bracht

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The flop read {j-Hearts}{6-Spades}{q-Spades} and Maximilian Bracht had bet 1,700 in a pot of around 7,000. Dennis Baaten raised to 4,000 from the button. Bracht added another 10,000 to his initial bet as a re-raise. Baaten shoved with the smaller stack and Bracht snap-called.

Maximilian Bracht: {K-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Dennis Baaten: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}

Baaten needed another spade to survive this all-in but the {J-Diamonds} on the turn and the {5-Clubs} on the river weren't that and he was sent to the rail.

The Lucky Charm Fails

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

[Removed:221] has a stuffed animal as lucky charm, in fact it is a lucky pig, but it didn't bring him any fortune in the showdown just now. Jens Patzner was all in for his last 12,700 with the {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Gold looked him up with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}.

The board came {8-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Patzner shrugged before collecting the pot.

Nina Lehle
Nina Lehle

Jesper Feddersen raised to 2,200 from under-the-gun and was called by Marco Dittmann in mid-position. Action folded to Nina Lehle, in the small blind, who shoved for 10,400. Feddersen folded and Dittmann called after having taken some time to make a decision.

Nina Lehle: {A-Spades}{J-Spades}
Marco Dittmann: {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{K-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds} - Lehle hit her ace on the flop for aces and sevens, and the double up.

Canniccioni Building

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Leon Canniccioni check-called a bet of 1,500 on the {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop and check-raised the {K-Spades} turn from 1,500 to 4,500. His sole opponent in the big blind, Hans Joerg Meier, called and the blank river was checked through. The Frenchman showed {K-Hearts}{8-Spades} for two pair, while Meier mucked a busted straight and flush draw.

Bratischchev Eliminates Inselmann

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Alexey Bratischchev had {a-Spades}{k-Spades} in front of him and his opponent was Christian Inselmann who was at risk of being eliminated as the dealer was counting his stack to see if he had a bigger one than Bratischchev's. The board read {2-Spades}{5-Spades}{J-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Bratischchev had flopped a flush. After the dealer had counted their stacks, she confirmed that Inselmann was eliminated and he got up from the table and left the tournament area.

Frost and Vojinovic Double

Level 8 : 400/800, 100 ante
Lasse Frost
Lasse Frost

Lasse Frost called the shove of Karim Rebei on the heads-up turn of {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Clubs} for his last 17,200 and Rebei turned over {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Frost had that beat with {5-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the {J-Clubs} river was a blank. "I was sure you had a pocket pair, but not that one," Rebei added in table chat.

One table over, Jamil Omar raised and called the shove of short stack Dalibor Vojinovic for 7,225 with the words "that's my favourite hand, I am not folding."

Omar had the {8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and almost got there to crack the {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds} of Vojinovic on a board of {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Spades}.
