Darnall checked the 1078 flop, and Anderson continued for 4,000. That produced a quick fold from Darnall, and Anderson added the pot to his growing stack.

Matthew Allen raised to 2,100 from the cutoff, with Adam Avitia calling in the small blind. Mark Cocke also slid in a call from the big blind, and all three players checked the J6Q flop.

Avitia led out for 3,000 on the 10 turn, with only Cocke calling to see the 5 river. Avitia checked, and Cocke fired 6,000 into the middle. That was enough to claim the pot, as Avitia let his hand go.

Welch Gets Value from Rice
